The United States and the Palestine-Israel relationship
As major protectors of Israel, the United States must commit themselves to definitively resolve the relationship between these two peoples.
They must first of all call up Israel to respect the Palestinian people, its sovereignty, its rights:
as for the agricultural settlements that Israel has created in the Palestinian territories;
for the wall erected;
for the cruel retaliation which is inflicted on the Palestinian people, as in these days following the attacks of Hamas. Such attacks, however, are motivated by the harassments that Palestinian people suffer continuously. Israel cannot claim impunity while violating the rights of another people.
The U.S. has the duty to take an action of great strength and effectiveness, with the cooperation of other major nations, in particular of the major Islamic nations, to convene an international conference for the final solution of this problem.
We know that the decisions of the Security Council have little effect.
This conference could be formally convoked by the UN, but the U.S. need to be the great promoters. Mankind must commit itself to the definite resolution of this agonising problem.
President Obama could commit himself to this initiative as a great act of international politics after his re-election.

Gli Stati Uniti e il rapporto Palestina-Israele
Come maggiori protettori di Israele gli Stati Uniti devono impegnarsi a risolvere definitivamente
il rapporto tra questi due popoli.
Devono anzitutto richiamare Israele al rispetto del popolo palestinese, della sua sovranità, dei suoi diritti:
così per le colonie agricole che Israele ha creato in territorio palestinese;
per il muro che ha eretto;
per le crudeli ritorsioni con cui infierisce su quel popolo; come in questi giorni in seguito agli attacchi di Hamas. I quali attacchi sono comunque motivati dalle vessazioni che il popolo palestinese subisce continuamente. Israele non può pretendere di violare impunemente i diritti di un altro popolo.
Gli Usa hanno il dovere di avviare un’azione di grande forza ed efficacia, con la collaborazione di altri stati tra i maggiori, in particolare dei maggiori stati islamici, convocare una conferenza internazionale per la soluzione definitiva di questo problema.
Sappiamo che le decisioni del Consiglio di sicurezza hanno scarsa efficacia.
La conferenza potrebb’essere convocata formalmente dall’Onu, ma gli Usa ne dovrebbero essere i grandi promotori. L’umanità intera deve impegnarsi a risolvere definitivamente questo doloroso problema.
Il Presidente Obama potrebbe impegnarsi in questa iniziativa come in un grande atto di politica internazionale dopo la sua rielezione.
